The 8-step telecalling call guide
1. Prepare
Read the lead source and need, and pick one goal for the call: an appointment, a quotation or an advance.
2. Open (first 10 seconds)
Use their name and remind them they enquired. Ask for 2 minutes.
3. Build trust
One true proof: years in business, customers near them, a real review.
4. Ask questions
Situation, problem, implication and need-payoff questions (the SPIN method). Talk 30%, listen 70%.
5. Present value
“You told me ___, so ___, which gives you ___.” At most 3 benefits, then the price.
6. Handle doubts
Listen, acknowledge, explore with a question, then respond. Never argue.
7. Close
Give two choices, ask for a small advance and stay silent after you ask.
8. Follow up
Send a summary within an hour and give something new in every follow-up.

Practice mode and your own replies
New telecallers say their answer first, then reveal the coach’s answer. Owners can add their own replies, which the team sees first.
The methods come from well-known sales books and from Ravi Prakash’s training: SPIN Selling (Neil Rackham), Influence (Robert Cialdini), Feel-Felt-Found and LAER. All lines are written fresh for Indian telecallers and for honest selling: true numbers and real deadlines only.
Frequently asked questions
What is a telecalling script?
A telecalling script is a planned set of lines a telecaller uses on a sales call: how to open, which questions to ask, how to present the product, how to answer objections and how to close. A good script is a guide, not something to read word by word.
How do I handle “bahut mehenga hai” on a sales call?
Agree with the feeling first, then move the talk from price to value: show how much the customer saves or gains, and offer an easy payment option if the budget is tight. Avoid giving a discount at once, because it tells the customer your price was not real.
